Beauty and the Beast is a love story that proves that opposites really do attract. He was a lonely beast cursed by a mysterious spell and she was the beautiful young girl who could set him and his kingdom free. Which two complete opposites from any film do you think would make an unlikely, yet interesting couple and why?

Harry potter and hananh montana as suggested by my daughter x

Darth Vader and the Little Mermaid. She would bring out the goodness in him and he could teach her how to be more assertive.
@gingergeri
I am thinking Pocahontas and Pirates of the Caribbean.
I would pair up Will Ferrell’s character Steve Butabi from A Night At The Roxbury with Callahan from Police Academy.
I think Steve needs a strong woman like Callahan to sort him out.

@kiku1978, The guy from the Wrestler (Mickey Rourke) and Princess from Enchanted! They would be complete opposites but would make it work! 🙂
Flounder (Little Mermaid) and Dorie ( Finding Nemo )… They would follow each other around the ocean in circles… cautioning each other and then doing things anyway.
Winnie the poo and rabbit I always thought rabbit was a bloke untill I read the book. Lol and winnie is so messy and rabbit so tidy and the cant stand each other. X @cohare28 twitter x
I will say that Harrison Ford’s character in Raiders of the Lost Ark and Audrey Hepburn from Breakfast at Tiffanys…both like adventure and a good time but one is rough and tumble and the other is classic sophistication!
@davisesq212
The Mad Hatter and Tiana from the princess and the frog. Love is an Universal Language regardless of your look, background, ethnicity… xoxox
@Shal777
Aragorn from LOTR and Elizabeth from Pride & Prejudice. Every woman wants a bit of rough but he is the whole package….rough, strong, deep, moody and good looking. She needs a man who will be firm with her and stop her childish ways…afterall he is saving Middle Earth!
The Mad Hatter and princess Tiana from the princess and the frog, there is no limits to love looks, background, ethnicity… Love is magic and wonderful and a Universal language. Xoxox
Hmmm …
Javier Bademr’s serial killer character in No Country for Old Men and Julie Andrews’ Mary Poppins who could give him a spoonful of his own medicine to go down!
TWITTER @NIGE 270
do they have to be from the same film? if not then Donkey from Shrek and Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh – Donkey is so upbeat and optimistic, Eeyore downbeat and pessimistic, they’d drive each other crazy, but I expect they’d bring out the best in each other. Are they both male donkeys? Then I guess you could do a remake of Brokeback Mountain with Eeyore and Donkey in the title roles 🙂
@msmollylouise
Shrek and Mary Poppins
Ariel and Prince Eric from the Little Mermaid. One is a mermaid, one is human, but they both find a way to come together at the end 🙂
I would say it would have to be Tinkerbell and Donkey
twitter dancer2712
@choonkitng Ursula from the Little Mermaid and Prince Charming from Cinderella
Woody from Toy Story and Alice in Wonderland – interesting adventures those two could have 🙂
@sethandshannon1 How about Ursula from Little Mermaid and Prince Charming from Cinderella

The cartoon character Charlie Brown and Eleanor Dashwood from Sense and Sensibility. What? I’m serious! He needed encouragement and she is an encourager. She craved loyalty and CB is as loyal as they come! :o)
One my my favorites!
how about Adam Sandler in the Waterboy and Poison Ivy from batman lol idk
Iron man and Magneto from X-Men.
Opposites attract 😉
@Vickren
Hercules-so powerful and Snow White so innocent and sweet
@cnaes
I would put Biff from back to the future with Mari from the sound of music.
I’m pretty sure she’d kick his backside into shape whilst making him sing the The Hills are a live, of the hills have eyes, depending on which way you look at it.:)
@Mazzz39 twitter.xx
ii think DORY and NEMO would be a funny combo!
They would just have such a good time being together
Darth Vader and Valeris from Star Trek VI. One emotional, one not, yet both willing to sell out what appears to be the good side for what they see as the greatest good.
Besides, Anakin didn’t have any onscreen chemistry whatsoever with Padmé. Thanks for ruining my childhood, Lucas.
@snowed_in
Sleeping Beauty and insomniac Ed Norton’s character in Fight Club…now they would have challenges in their relationship!
My two would be the Child Catcher from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Shirley Temple or Sidney Prescott (from Scream films) and Casper the Ghost!!
@nixispeak
I would say hades from hercules and scrat from ice age lol well not only hot and cold but both are always getting the bum deal lol xx @zoenmya xx
An unusual pairing – Audrey Hepburn (Breakfast at Tiffany’s) and Will Smith (Happyness) two contrasting sides of the financial crisis!Twitter @morphic43
Doc Emmett Brown and Professor McGonagall. Sweet.
Ace Ventura and Lt. Einhorn from “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective”. They would be barking (pardon the pun) at each other every day…all day! LOL!!!
Hmm I am going to say Jessica Rabbit and Yosemite Sam. One definitely a beauty and one definitely NOT! One refined and one not.
@HeartnSoulmom
I’d pair Marty McFly (Michael J Fox from Back to the Future) with Regina George from Mean Girls. They are both social people it seems like and although she’s high maintenance his considerate and laid back ways might tame her down a bit.
retweeted as well: http://twitter.com/DeeGee13/status/29405397774
Thanks! 🙂

Princess Tiana (The Princess and the Frog)and Remy (Ratatouille) because they both love to cook!
I think a good combination would be for a love of opposites would be, Austin Powers and Cruella de ville, it would be like sweet & Sour
I would say Marmuduke the dog and Maria the cat from the Aristocats!!!
Snow White & Hannibal Lector!. @SuziHares
How about Snow White and Jack Sparrow? They are both so different, it could be opposites attract…and they both could learn something from each other! @anniemos on twitter
I think Hook and Tinkerbell would make an interesting couple! @FruityTutti
I think Hook and Tinkerbell would make an interesting couple!
Gimli and and Madame Maxime! Would be hilarious.
@Jake_Dickens
@Lisa2062
How about Lara Croft, and Captain Jack Sparrow as they can both pack a punch or two.
I think Monsters Vs Aliens Ginormica could fall for the diminutive but magical Willow, if she didn’t accidentally step on him first…
Freddy Krueger and Dakota fanning character from War of the Worlds… She screamed a lot and I only think it’s fair we give the little brat something to really scream about.
Or…. James T Kirk and Nanny McPhee… Well he’s at the age where someone needs to take care of him… He tends to dribble in public these days
My Fair Lady
The rich sophisticated man falls for the Poor Flower Girl.
Simple explanation to anyone that has seen the movie.
Oh and why they would be interesting together: they are both quirky with a unique way of seeing the world 🙂
An interesting couple? Taylor Hawkins – Remember Me (Rob Pattinson) and Juno’s Ellen Page
Tweeting @MissingLynxx
Thank you!
@lazydaze2
Giselle from Enchanted and Mr Darcy from Pride and Prejudice. She wanted a prince and who better than a classy English gentleman! 🙂 ❤
@lazydaze2
Giselle from Enchanted and Mr Darcy from Pride and Prejudice. Giselle was looking for her prince and who better than a classy, English gentleman! 🙂 ❤ xxxx
A female only couple!! Ursula and the witch from snow White – both evil and could rule above sea and below sea 🙂
Charlie Baileygates from Me, Myself & Irene and M from the Bond films. Charlie is clearly nuts and a danger to himself and others whilst M is the most sensible and capable woman I can think of. Together they’d make for an interesting crime fighting duo with undeniable chemistry 😉
Oh that’s right, I’m supposed to answer the question, not just waffle on… so here is my 2nd comment lol.
I’d say Marla Singer from fight club and Captain Jack Sparrow, I think one they would make an eclectic and interesting couple anyway, but even if just in movie context, putting such oddities together in a single movie as a couple would be very exciting to watch, although I’m not entirely sure what the context would be, but that’s for the writers to worry about, I’m just an ideas man.
@loladelorean
Good question!
I would have (sticking with the Disney theme) the organised, practically perfect Mary Poppins getting a lesson in spontaneity and excitement from Jack Sparrow! She could help him keep his ship and rum collection tidy, and probably spruce up his outfits.
Hey howdy hay, here is my comment 🙂
My girlfriend is dying to see this on blu-ray, plus i’ve never seen it *smack*
Keep up the great work *thumbs up*
