[tweetmeme source= “blurayreporter” only_single=false]For this week’s Blu-ray Monday we’re giving away a Triple Play copy of ‘Unstoppable’.
An unmanned cargo train carrying toxic waste hurtles across the Pennsylvanian countryside. With only veteran engineer Frank (Denzel Washington) and rookie conductor Will (Chris Pine) on hand to avert catastrophe, director Tony Scott gives us a master class in pulse-racing action and high octane stunts as the duo fight to prevent disaster.
As usual with Blu-ray Monday, you have two chances to win. For your first entry, simply retweet the following post on Twitter: Tweet this
Then for a second entry, leave a comment on this post answering the following question:
‘Unstoppable’ pairs well established screen actor Denzel Washington with newcomer Chris Pine. If film partnerships such as Al Pacino and Marlon Brando in ‘The Godfather’ or Matt Damon and Robin Williams in ‘Good Will Hunting’ show us anything, its that a novice can often bring out the best in a seasoned professional and visa versa. If you could choose a fledgling actor to star alongside a movie legend who would you pick and why?
To make it easier for us to contact you, leave your Twitter details with your comment. We look forward to your suggestions!
How about rachel mcadam and meryl streep. I think that cld be interesting.
Chris Evans with Johnny Deep (Captain America and Captain Sparrow)
@girlyougotstyle
I’d have Robert Pattinson star with Jack Nicholson, I thonk Rob would easily pick up on Jack’s cool and Jack would teach our nice boy how to play a bad man 😉
Jack Black and Bruce Willis. That would be one awesome movie.
@Scottish_Ghost
i would pick jigsaw (saw) with chucky (childs play) to make the ultimate horror movie,plenty of chills and lots of gore.
or …jim carey with richard prior for the most side splitting comedy movie ever made.
I would pair David Bowie & Michael Caine,two of our finest actors!!
woops forgot @phyllgerry on previous comment, stupid stupid xx
Will Smith and James McAvoy in an action-adventure movie!

For the fledgling would choose Mark Rendall a canadian young actor, who has learned his trade by doing lots of little roles etc.
For the legend, well little bit left field but the great Bruce Dern. In two of my favourite films ‘Silent Running and The Burbs’
Grandad, child coming of age sci-fi flick perhaps, dunno.
I know this pair has already worked together but it worked so well! …..
Leonardo De Caprio and Tom Hanks.
@cfryer999
Loved this movie at the cinema and would like to watch again in shiny hi-def!
@weejok
nice prize @jamesdpaton
I’d pick Pattison to star along Ewen McGregor in a sci fi pic, maybe a star wars take off…the combination would be interesting and I think McGregor could mentor pattison in a way few other leading hollywood actors could.
Chloe Moretz (I wanted to adopt her as my little sister after seeing her in Kick-Ass) and (I’ll go against the apparent trend here) Bruce Willis.
I’ll let that sink in for a second.
Can you IMAGINE how awesome a film would be with these two actors? ‘Die Hard’ meets ‘Kick Ass’. ‘The 6th Sense’ meets ‘Let Me In’… these two would get on like a house on fire.
Intensity: check.
Delivery: check.
Ability to be creepy: check.
Tendency to play strong characters: check.
Spunk:… check!
I would love to see them collaborate in an action/thriller or see what their chemistry would be like in a tear-jerker.
@Starsnguitars on Twitter.
I would choose Bruce Willis and Thomas Dekker. I think that they would compliment each other in a drama/thriller type film.
Tweeted…
Chloe Moretz kicked ass in KICK-ASS… Sigourney Weaver has been kicking ass for decades… let’s put them together and see just how much ass they can kick!
@benlikesmovies
I would pair Duffy (because her acting skills shined in the Welsh film Patagonia) with Julia Roberts in a sort of Thelma and Louise type of film!
@FruityTutti
Charlie Sheen and William Shatner
I would pair Charlie Hunnam with Gary Oldman. I feel like Charlie, who’s already a great actor, will blossom more if he was paired with Gary Oldman. Charlie’s portrayal as Jax in Sons of Anarchy is impressive enough, but if you get Charlie and Gary together in a movie I feel like it’ll showcase the top of their ability. They both already have a wide range of acting ability. So it really is foolproof.

Ellen Page and Barbra Streisand. “Nuts” and “Juno”. Serious issue but comic, quick take on it.
@miriama59
How about Jesse Eisenberg and Robert Deniro?
Twitter: slugbug55
Harrison Ford … look where he started and then ended up … who better to work with / learn from!
@sabronet
I would pair Michael Cera with Jeff Bridges. Think of a Big Lebowski movie crossed with Scott Pilgrim…..chaos! They are both laid back dudes that could cause quite a stir! 😉
Anton Yelchin (Terminator Salvation) & Clint Eastwood. With Clint now in his eighties it would be great to see a film that might portray Anton as a younger Clint in a past to future plot.
