Blu-ray Monday Giveaway: Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps

[tweetmeme source= “blurayreporter” only_single=false]
For this week’s Blu-ray Monday we are giving away a copy of Oliver Stone’s ‘Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps’.

23 years on and as flashy, engaging and slippery as ever, greedy banker Gordon Gekko is back as Michael Douglas reprises his career defining role and resurrects one of cinema’s most glorious villains. Gekko finds himself released from prison and on the outside looking in at the financial world he once commanded. Hoping to repair his relationship with estranged daughter Winnie (Carey Mulligan), Gekko forges an alliance with her fledgling banker boyfriend Jake (Shia LaBeouf). However, the couple soon learns that Gekko’s thirst for greed and control stops at nothing.

As usual with Blu-ray Monday, you have two chances to win. For your first entry, simply retweet the following post on Twitter: Tweet this

Then for a second entry, leave a comment on this post to the following question:

Recent releases like, ‘Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps’, ‘Tron: Legacy’ and ‘The Karate Kid’ prove the demand for 80s films is as high as ever. Maybe it’s time to bring back ‘Top Gun’, ‘The Goonies’ or even ‘Beetlejuice’? Which 80s films would you like to see a second installment of and why?

To make it easier for us to contact you, leave your Twitter details with your comment. We look forward to your suggestions!

  14. 14 Amanda Gorton January 29, 2011 at 5:21 am

    Conan The Barbarian – The special effects used in todays cinema would make it a fantasy come true!

  15. 15 RobynL January 29, 2011 at 4:18 am

    Definitely Top Gun should be brought back or a sequel to it.

    We need to know what has happened since the first one.

  18. 18 Leanne B January 28, 2011 at 7:33 pm

    A proper follow-up to Dirty Dancing would be good, not a remake though. It’s too much of a classic now.

    @lebeeuk

  19. 19 Bradley C. January 28, 2011 at 7:30 pm

    I’d definitely like to see a second installment of “Legend” with Tom Cruise. The ending was left kind of open, so I believe a sequel would be possible without seeming forced. With todays special effects it would make for one heck of a fantasy movie, and there haven’t been many of those around these days.

    Definately ET. Eliot the little boy would be grown up with his own family and ET could come back and visit them – and if he wanted to Phone Home it would be so much easier now!

  52. 53 Diana Cotter January 24, 2011 at 4:47 pm

    It would have to be Beetlejuice – my son must have watched it 20 times and asked me every time “What happened next?” It would be wonderful to give him an answer after 20 odd years 🙂

    It would be quite interesting to see which route they would take; making him small again (in a 17 again kind of a way) or perhaps making his son Big!!

    @JoKiely

  56. 57 James Whitbord January 24, 2011 at 3:05 pm

    ET…Awesome film that will only encourage friendship and love. Spielberg’s best I think.It is time for ET to return to visit Elliot and his family 30 years later.

  59. 60 Mia Fergusson January 24, 2011 at 2:30 pm

    Any 80’s horror film because if they were brought back the graphics would be so much better and realistic. Evil Dead for example. Also the zombie ones would look great nowadays!

  60. 61 cynthia d January 24, 2011 at 2:30 pm

    i would love to see Beetlejuice.because i would love to follow the characters thru their dead life

  61. 62 Chris January 24, 2011 at 2:29 pm

    I’d go for Eli Roth doing a full budget remake of Jim Muro’s Street Trash. Just to see if he could keep the camp silliness of the original amongst the bloodshed. Or possibly its time for HBO to revisit Renegade? The world needs the likes of Reno Raines and Bobby Sixkiller more than ever…@cam_guin

  62. 63 StarrMagenta January 24, 2011 at 2:29 pm

    I’d like to see Lost Boys given a second installment.
