Me and my kids have lots of film highlights, we love the cinema and go at least once a month. But having discussed it with the kids, it has to be in Toy Story 3 when he gives the toys to the little girl, i think we all cried at that!!!

My favorite film of 2010 has got to be Inception. No other movie has come close to the quality of this movie. The story and plot is fresh and unique and proof of how great of a director Christopher Nolan has become.
RT’d @veridisquo1
I loved Secretariat. Moving story of what it really takes to
be a winner.
My greatest film experience of 2010 was having my 15 year old daughter take me to see Toy Story 3 for Father’s Day, a great movie on a special day spent with the most important person in the world to me, nothing better!
I would have to say A-Team is the movie that I loved because it was so much better than I expected with continuous action and the exciting moment is when we found out why B.A. became scared flying and it was because of a flying stunt by Murdoch.
Shutter Island was an AMAZING movie. I can usually guess what is going to happen in a film. But this one threw me for a loop. One of the best movies ever. @BeingAlison
Inception was my 2010 favorite film

being a big kid, my favourite film moment comes from toy story 3 – it’s the bit where buzz gets reset and goes into spanish mode, we all had tears rolling down our faces we were laughing so hard at him.
brilliant film and it didn’t make me cry either, well apart from laughing type crying!
My favorite movie moment was taking my 3 year old daughter to the movie for the first time to see Toy Story 3. She was so amazed at how big the screen was and really got into the story. She reacted with the characters (laughing, worried, angry, etc). It was such a great experience!
(@THRansom)
@sewingmema – Avatar at iMax! Totally awesome.
We just saw Tangled the other day..best movie of the year 🙂
Johnny Depp’s performance from Alice In Wonderland and his wacky character, the Mad Hatter. Oh, and the ending of the movie, with the Futterwacken dance, was truly one of the most unforgetable moments of 2010 😀

My favourite film moment was when I got a rare change to see toy story 3 at the cinema, made my cry, and me me laugh to watch my 5 year old react to the film with his 3d glasses on. The end was a real tear jerker, happy and sad at same time! Have twitted @WendyCollard Merry Xmas xxx
@damize4u. I do not have a theater memory from this year, but I do have a memory I will never forget. My last movie I seen in the theater is platoon.. Yes you heard right, it has been along time since I have been to the movies. My father was kind of a hard man, he did not express himself well or at all. When the movie platoon came out my dad actually asked me to go with him. I felt almost invincible, it meant so much to me. He spared no expense that night, which really suprised me, I had to keep on looking over at him to make sure it was my father and not some alien replacement. That was the first time I seen my father go to the movies, unfortunately it was the last time too. I bought him the movie for Christmas that next year, not sure if he ever watched it. Really do not know what happened to it, but I was secretly wishing he would invite me over to watch it with him again. That never happened, he left this earth in 2001. I did buy the movie once again, and I shared it with my family. It too was a good day, just wish he was here to share in the experience. Sorry for rattling on like I did. Thanks for reading and have a very merry Christmas!
I’M JUST SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED FOR THE FINAL HARRY POTTER!
@SECOND_TIME_MUM
Spielberg and Jackson making Tin tin and seeing the first glimpses of the film on the website!!!
My favorite film moment was when we first entered the deep, lush world of Pandora; swept away by the breathtaking fauna and flora. Especially loved the whimsical, white floating plants that almost looked like little underwater squid. You could almost feel the collective conscious of the Pandoran world. 🙂
Thanks for the chance to reflect!

My best film moment was finally getting to watch Eclipse this week after waiting for months.@n76seary
@kellyrella691 I totally loved Avatar. The special effects were beyond amazing. As an artist I really appreciate this aspect of any movie.
I’m going to go with the shocked face moment that was the end of Remember Me. My boyfriend actually turned to me and asked if I was okay, the emotion in the small screen it was shown in was apparent, we were all choked up and silent.
I’ve since got it on dvd, it’s a very discreet and unassuming movie. Funny at times, heartbreaking at others, and I’ve grown to love it for more than just Robert Pattinson, who was initially the only reason I went to see it!
Thanks for running these giveaways, answering these questions every week has been fun and I love seeing the different answers!

The scene that has left a lasting impression with me this year is the ‘dream collapsing’ scene in Inception, seen at the IMAX, it left me breathless.

My favourite moment of 2010 was the touching end scene in Toy Story 3. Not a dry eye in the cinema.
Saw 7 in 3D. I was cringing, ducking flying blood spatters and loving every minute! @wendymcd83
Mine’s the bit in Twilight Eclipse when Charlie decides he likes Edward a bit more now that he’s found out that Bella is still a virgin, this is such a funny line, it’s a great addition!

The Malfoy Manor/Dobby death scene in Deathly Hallows Pt 1.
@Jake_Dickens
My favourite moment of 2010 comes very recently, and is a key moment in Jalmari Helander’s ‘Rare Exports’.
The dark scene sees the locals proding and poking the crouched naked ‘santa’in the meat house, when suddenly he begins to sniff and slowly turn his head; his evil eyes lighting at the prospect of catching his prey, as he can smell the child peering through the window.
The direction, music and sinister acting in this scene epitimises the dark nature of this festive tale.
@_Voldo_
Didn’t get to see a lot of films this year, but what I did see was Inception and enjoyed that film more than any other for a long time. The best and funniest scene was them being thrown about in the van as it went over the edge.
Great selections of movies you’re giving away.

The best movie moment of 2010 is the final act in Black Swan. There was so much passion, emotion, and cinematic detail in the last act, and I don’t want to give anything away, but it was just incredible and I feel blessed to have witnessed that incredible moment in movie history. It literally put me into tears.
I think Toy Story 3 meant the most to me. Being a mom to soon-to-be two boys, it made me tear up to see Andy leave home and part with his childhood. Kids grow up too quickly!

My favorite movie moment of 2010 had to be the numerous, numerous conversations with friends & family trying to recount & unravel the many mysteries of “Inception”
I thought the best movies were the comedies this year. So may great releases including Get him to the Greek made 2010 a great movie year! Also the final Shrek was great
The entire Inception movie! I was blown away; such an awesome concept. Then there’s the added factor of Leo being the lead star. I’ve loved him forever! Movie of the Year!

My favorite film from 2010 is “The Last Rites of Ransom Pride” a really cool western with Dwight Yoakam (who was absolutely amazing as a preacher struggling with good & evil) and Jason Priestly. Awesome real classic style western.
Favorite film of the year was definitely Toy Story 3. The end of the movie was my favorite moment. It was bittersweet and heartwarming at the same time!
I like Toy Story.
Inception – the final scene……is it real or just a dream??? What a film, loved it!!

The best movie moment of 2010 for me was seeing Avatar in IMAX 3D. We saw it in early 2010. We don’t go to the movies much, so this was a real treat. Seeing this movie in IMAX 3D was just amazing.
the final kill in the expendables was the best movie moment of 2010. it was so gruesome and unexpected! dont wanna specify to details but it involved a sword.
I loved all the minions in Dispicable Me

The fight scene in the hallway in Inception was fantastic. Amazing use of special effects and really worked well with the storyline. Also, loved the final scene in Toy Story 3… a real tear jerker. My Twitter name is @DVLTweet. v2931 at aol dot com
Some of my favorite movie moments of 2010 are connected to the movie Avatar. I know it was released in 2009, but it shined in 2010. So…
Avatar was the very first movie I saw in 3D, and, furthermore, was the first movie I saw in an IMAX theatre. I absolutely loved the experience and it quickly became one of my all-time favorite movies.
Afterwards, Avatar was my first Blu-ray movie. I bought it in the spring, on the day of the release, early morning to make sure I can still get a copy 😀 Unfortunately, it didn’t have any extras, so to win this week’s prize, which includes the 3-disc extended version, would be fantastic.
And, up until now, that Blu-ray version of Avatar I bought months ago is one of the only 3 Blu-ray movies I have. I love Blu-ray movies, they are awesome, but I can’t afford to buy them too often. So this prize would be more than welcomed 😉
Thanks for this great giveaway!

I really dug the moment in Predators where Adrien Brody met up with the “classic” Predator. it just felt kind of awesome.

Now this would be actually watching the latest Harry Potter movie and not spending the entire time wondering how they butchered such a great book. It was the first Harry Potter film I’ve actually enjoyed!
I couldn’t sleep the night before i saw ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1’ then finally as the lights went down i think i had a mild coronary with excitement and anticipation. This is going to be the longest intermission EVER! Gonna need a lot of pop corn and ice-cream!
The last part of The Runaways (2010), where Joan Jett (Kirsten Stewart) is being interviewed and she receives a call from Cherie Currie (Dakota Fanning). Goosebumps! And then the movie closes into Joan Jett’s rendition of “crimson and clover”. So memorable.
I’m very excited about the sequel to ‘the Hangover’! Partly because I adore Bradley Cooper hehe
@ameecq
When Woody and all his toy friends were reunited in Toy Story 3 🙂

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 is my favourite this year. Incredible movie with amazing special effects from start to the end.
I really enjoyed a lot of the scenes where Mark Zuckerberg starts working on Facebook when he was drunk in The Social Network
I think Inception was one of the best movies of 2010 – you definitely had to pay attention to that one!!

Every minute of Unstoppable! Not a slow moment!
It has to be Avatar as it was the first time I’ve been to the cinema in about 3 years (since having my children), and also the first film I’ve seen in 3D. I didn’t think I’d like the film and only agreed because my husband really wanted to see it, but I loved it! What an amazing experience.

Oh another fab giveaway! 3 of my favourite films too!
How weird! coincidence?
I loved inception, the movie really bends your mind!
I loved the zero gravity fight with Joseph Gordon Levitt in Inception, it’s a fantastic part of my favourite film of the year.
nick cage destroying a warehouse of bad guys closely followed by THAT line in Kick Ass…
Easily the hallway fight of Inception. Favourite moment of film in 2010.

Love the movie Harry Potter, just went and watched it last week, plans are to go and see it again!
hope i win
I was so excited to see that they are releasing another Cars movie! The first was beautiful, I cant wait to see the second!
My favourite film moment would have to be seeing the early prteview of Twilight Eclipse, the first time I’ve ever seen a film before it opens, 3 friends and I made a day and night of it and had a great time. the atmosphere in the cinema was amazing.
My favourite movie moment of 2010 is the scene in Toy Story 3 when all the toys are about to go into the fire pit at the rubbish dump. The scene is so powerful without a single word of dialogue – the use of the toys’ body language makes it so emotional, especially when Bullseye is panicking and Jessie touches him as if to say ‘ It’s too late’. I was in tears!!

After 5 years of being housebound due to agoraphobia my daughter & I ventured out to see Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland at the Showcase in Dudley. To mark the occasion we bought a Premier package which included exclusive seats, popcorn and a drink. The staff were slightly bemused as they hadn’t sold many of these packages but they made us feel like VIPs.
We settled into the oversized seats with a side tray as well as a drinks holder and no middle arm when an usherette appeared to check our tickets. She then produced a china tray with 2 blueberry muffins, some nachos with a salsa dip and a box of Celebrations chocolates with the compliments of the management.
The film lived up to expectations too!
Well 2010 is not over yet and you can never count out the Coen Bros with True Grit. Also waiting on The Fighter too.I would say the big suprise was The Town for me. I did not want to go but the action was very entertaining.
The scenes in the rotary hotel hallway in the film ” Inception ” with Joseph Gordon-Levitt are the best for a long time for me!
Sorry!

My favorite moment, was when I first saw the released photographs of the actors in Alice in Wonderland, in their full character make-up/costumes. As soon as I saw how amazing the costumes and design looked, I was so excited/anxious to see the movie itself.

It has to be my first 3 D movie at the local cinema I was really pleasantly surprised when I heard that they had invested in 3D technology
best film moment – in the movie back up plan – when Jennifer Lopez’s dog had wheels for hind legs – that was so touching and eye opening for my son – animals (and ppl) with disabilites can survive quite well and need our love and understanding
My great film moment was sitting in the theater with my granddaughter watching Toy Story 3. She is 3 and the wonder, joy and amazement on her face were a sight to see. It was a good time and when she crawled on my lap to whisper things to me about the movie I was in heaven. ❤
wow – 3 really great movies!!
The pinnacle of my movie going year has to be the moment Hit Girl shows up to rescue Kick Ass, I found it somewhat strangely satisfying watching a 13 year old girl hacking & slicing up foes and taking pleasure from doing so.
The sound track, although cheesy, sat very well with the action sequences. This movie blew all my expectations (& doubts) out of the water & made for one hell of a spectacle, without doubt my most enjoyable movie of the year… nay, past three years.

Salvador Dali’s DESTINO animated short on the Fantasia set had to be the single most favorite film moment for me this year – although there were many – long live Blu-ray!
The best film moment for me had to be after watching Scott Pilgrim vs The World when a I overheard a girl saying to her boyfriend “I know it was supposed to be about video games or something, but I just didn’t get it…”. Granted, I’m a video game geek, but even if I weren’t, I think I still could have grapsed the plot…some people, haha. I loved every second of that film and can’t wait for the 27th!
I’d have to say seeing Avatar in 3D at an IMAX theater. I hadn’t seen an 3D movie for years & was shocked at the quality. I also really likes the movie.

My favoroite film moment of 2010 would have to be when I watched ‘Splice’ with my Brother. We are both big time film/movie critics, and I’m a former DVD reviewer. On occasion we’ll take a break from our busy lives and enjoy a movie together. This time the movie was ‘Splice’. To be honest I’m a fan of Dark Castle Ent. films, and have been since the remake of ‘House on Haunted Hill’. My Brother, and I disagree about a few of the films from Dark Castle Ent., but we agreed on what we thought about ‘Splice’. After watching ‘Splice’ all the way through we turned and looked at each other waiting for one or the other to give their critique. There was a bit of a silent pause, but then I spoke saying “That’s Awesome!”. My Brother, being the sophisticated college student that he is simply said “Yes it was.” We talked over the points of the movie, and decided that though it had a sci-fi side to it, it also had a moral standpoint. In essence we summed it up by saying the movie was an excellent example about how tampering with nature will come back to haunt you.
The moment in Taken when he is torturing the guy with Electricity. He promises to let the guy go if he tells him what he knows, which the guy does but then kills him anyway…
My movie moment of the year was seeing Hit Girl come to the rescue of Kick-Ass. It was a shock to see what she could do for a girl her age and the gritty language she used. It just made for a great comic book moment on film. Great movie!

♥ed! ♥ed! ♥ed! RED… The whole movie was Amazing! Great cast, funny, old school action, very exciting. Came out of the cinema invigorated 🙂
My favourite momment in a film in 2010 is all of the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
As a keen Potter fan then Mr Potter will always win for me, no single momment in the film just the whole film.
Our local cinema was re opened after many many years of being shut (last film I saw there was twister) and myself and other half went to see the new harry potter film. Brought back so many good memories and when we left everything was white outside as it had started snowing half way through the film. Magical night
My fave film moment of 2010 has to be the part in Kick Ass where Chloe Mortez comes in in her first scene and kills the ‘bad guys’… in fact, every fight scene she’s in. The slow-mo parts are particularly awesome :). Girl power or what?!

Thanks!
I like in toy story 3 when mr potato head says: I told you kids: stay outta my butt!
It has to be from The last exorcism when Cotton is showing how he has scammed the family in thinking the daughter is posessed he had me in histerics, was brilliant. So many funny quotes from the film ” Pregnancy is easily mistaken for possession” lol
The announcement of Paranormal Activity 2 was the best news this year!
I absolutely loved the end scene in Inception. For me that was the best moment all year. The music tied in perfectly with what you were seeing on screen. It was really a mixture of emotions, happiness and sadness, when watching. It’s also hard to describe it without spoiling the ending for people that event, but should have, seen it! Epic film!
Great movies! Something for everyone. You have covered all the bases to keep my family entertained during the holidays!!
Inception is on my MUST SEE list! Haven’t had a chance yet but planning to see before year end!

There were a lot of great movies this year, but for me it was Toy Story 3. My son was only 2 when the original came out and we went together to see Toy Story 3 because we had watched the others over and over again together. It is a big deal to me that at 17 he was willing to go to see this one with me, and it was kind of cute to see him shed a tear, although he was trying to hide it from me!! My son and I have gone full circle with Toy Story. Bittersweet!!

I’m really sorry for this one but it has to be Jacob in Eclipse when he says does my being half naked bother you? (well i am female after all!)
The anticipation of the new Harry Potter film, and then going to see it and having it exceed expectations was my best film moment. Fantastic.

We went to see The Karate Kid at a preview screening and I just lived the scenery from the top of the great wall and that mountain they went up. the bit with the fly swat was pretty good too!
