I would cast my LEGOs in Toy Story. They could hold a roll like the army men, yet they could build anything they could possibly ever need! Need an escape car? Got it covered! Need a bank for Mr. Potato Head to rob? LEGOs can build it!

  4. 4 Nicola Lester November 22, 2010 at 1:03 pm

It would be funny if a chess set was in Andy’s bedroom. If Woody and Buzz had to get all the toys to another roon, seeing their frustration as the chess pieces only moveed in the directions they are allowed in the game would be brilliant.

  5. 5 marcus sinkinson November 22, 2010 at 12:25 pm

I would have to cast my furby & i reckon it would hit it off with buzz lol

  6. 6 jamie speakman November 22, 2010 at 12:14 pm

Prince Adam AKA He-Man AKA Master of the Universe!

Michael Keaton could have done the voice for him too I reckon…

  7. 7 Davi November 22, 2010 at 12:07 pm

    Hi im tweeting as @darkerdave.

I would love to use my Tom Baker Doctor Who action figure in my own version of toy story. He comes complete with floppy long scalf and sonic screwdriver and he would be a formidable ally for Buzz Lightyear and the crew. Not to mention his battle army consisting of jelly babies!!!!

  8. 8 LadyFidza November 22, 2010 at 12:02 pm

Thundercat, my favorite ever since I was kid till now!

And I tweeted the giveaway on twitter as well 🙂

  9. 9 Beverley November 22, 2010 at 11:55 am

I have a remote controlled guinea pig. I would cast her in Toy Story because, unlike my real guinea pigs, she does as she’s told! I would love to see my toy guinea pig mix it up with Mr Potato Head!

  10. 10 Sandy November 22, 2010 at 11:44 am

I would pick my Red Indian Johnny West and Thunderbolt his palomino horse by Marx toys. They were my best Xmas present ever, i played with them til i was about 14! I missed them so much as an adult i bought them off Ebay a couple of years ago just to have as an ornament!!
Just think of all the adventures my Red Indian would have i’d let my imagination run wild like it did when i was young. :o)

  11. 11 Alison Lee November 22, 2010 at 11:36 am

    I am @oozzle and I have retweeted 😀

Battle Cat from He-Man would make a fine Toy Story playmate! He would be an excellent mode of transport and can be mean when needed to defend his friends!

  12. 12 Rebecca Lassiter November 22, 2010 at 6:06 am

My favorite stuffed animal was a sad faced brown dog I called Doyle, and a boy cabbage patch… not sure where he came from.. but I thought he was special.

What do you mean IF? My kids have got so much of this stuff I already have playtime with them. I also have, as a direct result of the Toy Story movies, a collection of ‘still in the boxes like Stinky Pete’ Mr Potato Head’s including Spider Spud, R2 Potatoo and Optimash Prime.

  15. 15 Juice November 21, 2010 at 9:51 pm

  18. 18 Karen November 21, 2010 at 1:40 pm

I would cast my ‘Batman’ Troll. He would look great flying to the rescue with his cape and long white troll hair flowing behind him. I reckon he would be a great companion for Buzz Lightyear! 🙂

  24. 24 Chris Field November 20, 2010 at 1:50 pm

    Voltron, GoBots & Transformers

  27. 27 Justine November 19, 2010 at 5:59 pm

Honestly, I didn’t have very many toys of my own, but I would choose my sister’s Pee Wee Herman doll, he could have his own Playhouse Show on there and he would be hilarious…I mean, I doubt you have to ask why I’d choose Pee Wee!

  28. 28 colin G November 19, 2010 at 4:18 pm

    My transformers @colinG75

  29. 29 mike November 19, 2010 at 4:03 pm

I’d cast my collection of musclemen, my slotcar racing set, and my transformers collection. The movie would be a combination of Toy Story and Transformers, now that would be sweet!

  30. 30 Julie Davis November 19, 2010 at 3:45 pm

I am @finntannermom and I would add strawberry shortcake, my care bear and my bike.

  31. 31 Shal Hodder November 19, 2010 at 3:38 pm

I would like to see Basil Brush in with the other Toy Story characters. I wonder how long it would be before there was a skipping rope tied around his mush after he had driven them all mental with his Boom!Boom!

  32. 32 Jessica November 19, 2010 at 3:31 pm

I think it would have to be my Teddy Ruxpin and his sidekick Grubby. Those were my absolute favorite toys growing up. And a lite brite.. Hey, if they can do a potato head, why not a lite brite. 😀 I think Lite brites would be awesome in my own version of toy story haha.

  33. 33 Danielle P November 19, 2010 at 3:30 pm

My brother had a Mighty Mo toy that I played and played with.. It was the coolest toy in our home.. I would love to see that come alive in Andy’s room

  34. 34 evelyn goettner November 19, 2010 at 3:30 pm

my cabbage patch doll! I loved those things. @evie197580

  35. 35 Lisa Stewart November 19, 2010 at 12:57 pm

My Furby, man that was the best Christmas present I ever got. His name was Toto.
Going back further, I had a vast collection of Puppy in my Pockets and Disney figurines, maybe they could serve as the big armies to help action hero Toto the Furby save the rest of Toydom.

  36. 36 Melvis November 19, 2010 at 9:16 am

I would cast my Care Bear … he’s my most loyal toy and has been with me for almost 30 years 😀 xx

  37. 37 playthatnow November 19, 2010 at 4:46 am

I would cast the tug boat I had for the bathtub!

    Twitter profile

  38. 38 Bradley C. November 18, 2010 at 8:25 pm

I would choose ‘Stinkor’ from the He-Man Masters of the Universe’ toys. He was half skunk, and half man. The toy would let out a skunk like odor if you twisted it, and I think that would make for some very humerous moments in a Toy Story movie.

    My Twitter Name is: @otakudante

  39. 39 James November 18, 2010 at 7:05 pm

    Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

  40. 40 Coversnails November 18, 2010 at 6:53 pm

It would have to be my children soft toy dog Parker (For some reason I decided his name had to begin with a P)

I always imagined hm as friendly and kind, but a bit thick, he’d make a good comic foil!

  41. 41 Merle November 18, 2010 at 6:06 pm

I would say I’d cast my old star wars figures but Im sure George Lucas would sue me. So I’m gonna go with ninja turtles and gi joe. And the reason, well, mean pink bears need more than some cowboy to take them down. 😉

  42. 42 Sheryl Edwards November 18, 2010 at 5:37 pm

I would cast my Troll Doll! Remember those?

  43. 43 Eric November 18, 2010 at 5:36 pm

    Big Wheel, He Man.

  44. 44 Kim Stenner November 18, 2010 at 5:20 pm

    GI Joe…cause he’s awesome

  45. 45 Daniel Scales November 18, 2010 at 5:18 pm

    – Well a lot of the toys I used to have WERE toy story toys, I still have woody and buzz! I think if I was to cast one of my other old toys in to a Toy Story movie though I’d definitely cast my big pink cuddly elephant – we was always so happy and there have never really been any BIG toys in a Toy Story movie 🙂

  46. 46 mary rodowicz November 18, 2010 at 5:11 pm

Hmmm..I would add Strawberry shortcake or a Cabbage Patch Doll..either of these two would be fun to add to the cast!! @alongcamemary1 Mary 🙂

  47. 47 lola malone November 18, 2010 at 4:03 pm

I would add the elephant that my boys are constantly fighting over.

  48. 48 Kirsty November 18, 2010 at 11:38 am

Would have to be my stuffed toy Koala as she has lived through all my adventures (as both a child and adult) ever since I was born!! 🙂

  49. 49 Judy Bradley November 18, 2010 at 2:32 am

My favorite toys were mostly stuffed animals, so there were be my white dog Snowflake, known for giving comfort and companionship; my cute elephant Pinky, known for being so cute and being able to make one laugh, and then there would be my larger gray elephant with baby, known for making me think of my mom while she was away in the Army. They possess their own personal traits mentioned, plus the tenacity and team work to get the stop done!

  50. 50 Darren November 17, 2010 at 10:05 pm

Darth Vader, the movie Indian in the Cupboard didn’t do it justice.

    Twitter: dfunk91

  51. 51 Nadia November 17, 2010 at 8:49 pm

I would have Polly Pocket, because they are small enough to get into small spaces (which is always handy), and I feel that the lil army men can get quite lonely at times =P

  52. 52 Darlene Wright November 17, 2010 at 8:02 pm

I’d cast my old Raggedy Ann doll. Nice and sweet, the perfect friend!

@lefty22 (forgot to add first time, thanks)

  55. 55 rob November 17, 2010 at 7:28 pm

  56. 56 Natalie J. Vandenberghe November 17, 2010 at 6:02 pm

@Lexiquin would have Legos star–because they can be made into anything!

  57. 57 Alex Greenwood November 17, 2010 at 5:59 pm

I’d chose my oldest toy; a teddy called ‘yellow teddy’ (imaginative I know!)
I’ve had him since the day I was born so he’s a wise old veteran in my toy collection! I think he’d make a great character in Toy Story, even if his stuffing has gone a bit south and his head wont stay upright any more!!

  58. 58 stephanie t November 17, 2010 at 5:58 pm

I would choose Strawberry Shortcake lol she was the best or Care Bears.

  59. 59 Ross November 17, 2010 at 5:57 pm

I’d definitely keep the originals then add my vast collection od Star Wars figures that I had under my bed then maybe some Lego, Playmobil and Action Man just to make it even more cool.

    Twitter: @Bingo_said

  60. 60 chris_woodgate November 17, 2010 at 5:54 pm

I would have woody as me my nick is woodie
    then barbi as the wife
slinky because you need a pet
mr&mrs potato heads for the comedy spot
buzz as best friend for now and infinity & beyond

He-Man! Kids today need to know what real toys where!

  63. 63 ange November 17, 2010 at 5:31 pm

and for the cuteness factor, i’d also add….

    Victoria Plum
    Humpty Dumpty

    Twitter – @loopeyange

    Thanks! xxx

  64. 64 Zoe Allen November 17, 2010 at 5:25 pm

    @zoenmya on twitter

  65. 65 Josh November 17, 2010 at 5:22 pm

I’d cast Lego characters. They would be awesome. Building houses etc… like the army men but better!

  66. 66 Matthew Smith November 17, 2010 at 5:21 pm

I would cast my favourite childhood toy Dino, he looked a bit battered and worn out, but he was well loved and would make a great companion for all the toy story toys if he ever met them.

  67. 67 Geraldine D. November 17, 2010 at 5:20 pm

My teddy bear “Teddy” that I had as a chlld. He was enormous and filled with real straw inside. We shared many happy moments together. Sigh!

  68. 68 Jennifer Peters November 17, 2010 at 5:17 pm

I would Cast My Penggy hes a stuffed penguin i got at the Boston aquarium when i was a child, hes now my 6 yr old daughters, he hangs out with Hello Kitty & care-bears now Hes a party animal, and very versatile he could play many roles, but may show up late on set lol
    Tweet as @JK8675309

  69. 69 pam November 17, 2010 at 2:18 pm

I would have to use my sons lego, cos they can form into anything as when needed lol

  70. 70 Joanne Blunt November 17, 2010 at 1:17 pm

I think Morph would make a fantastic addition to the Toy Story cast. A classic character that can change form would be able to help on any adventures and confuse and trick Sid. I loved him as a child and would love to see him make a comeback.

  71. 71 Stuart McKenzie November 17, 2010 at 1:07 pm

I remember having a full set of He Man toys when I was about 7 or 8. I reckon they’d make a great addition to the Toy Story cast. Let’s see Sid & Zurg mess with the power of Grayskull!

  72. 72 phyllis ellett November 17, 2010 at 8:23 am

I would have Tiny Tears, God the mess that toy would make around the house. I would wonder who would have to clean all that up. @phyllgerry on good old twitter

  73. 73 Gary November 17, 2010 at 5:44 am

I’d vote for my vocaloid toys! Imagine a Hatsune Miku singing! Unlike Buzz, she doesn’t mind there are clones of her!

  74. 74 jeannine m November 16, 2010 at 9:30 pm

Pound puppy, Strawberry shortcake, my little ponies, army men (i have brothers) and some wrestling figures

  75. 75 Allen M. November 16, 2010 at 9:25 pm

I would cast my battleship game because it is so strategic!

  76. 76 Shannon M. November 16, 2010 at 9:24 pm

I would cast this weird Stuffed Hobo that my parents gave me when I was about 4 years old. It looked just like a little person and was totally creepy! It used to scare the crap out of me! I don’t know why my parents thought I would like it! Creepy Hobo could be a villain in the story!

  77. 77 filmzirkus November 16, 2010 at 7:03 pm

I’d cast my favorite teddy bear “Uwe”… that I have barfed upon countless times. @filmzirkus

  78. 78 Diane November 16, 2010 at 6:33 pm

My baby Thumbalina I used to have as a child, she was my fav doll!

  79. 79 Geri November 16, 2010 at 5:51 pm

Doll’s house, -a right little housewife in the making? Not on your life, just practising for my eventual starring role in Big Brother! Twitter @morphic43

    itsjustme62613 at

  81. 81 Jessica Drye November 16, 2010 at 5:44 pm

I would keep the cast JUST as it is. I think it is perfect and couldnt get any better

  82. 82 Cheryl W. November 16, 2010 at 3:40 pm

My cast of Characters would be:

A My Little Pony riding Strawberry Shortcake with a Barbie vendetta. How dare Barbie upstage her with her condos, men(Ken), airplanes and spas. Strawberry Shortcake and her posse are out to even the score. But wait, what is this…..Barbie has her massive body guard, Stretch Armstrong, waiting to clobber any who dare to come near. The Strawberry Shortcake gang returns to their Tinker Toy fort to drawn up plan B on the Light Bright. As tension rise, the toy world is threatened, Strawberry Shortcake and the Purple Pie man have devised an evil plan. In the thralls of Battle Rainbow Brite and the Sprites arrive with their army of sharing and caring Care bears. Care Bears are spreading sunshine and love all over the place and all parties start to hug it out. But lurking behind the Lincoln logs is a very bitter Smurfs who have brain washed Power Rangers posied to do something awful. Stay tuned…….!

  83. 83 Wendy McDonald November 16, 2010 at 11:55 am

I’d cast my son’s collection of Duplo…all the little people and animals would be brilliant, coming to life and using themselves and other Duplo bricks to build elaborate constructions! @wendymcd83

  84. 84 Jade November 16, 2010 at 11:30 am

I always forget my twitter name! It’s @Girlyougotstyle

  85. 85 Jade November 16, 2010 at 11:30 am

I’d cast Owler, my manky childhood owl friend who I still have as the hero (Woody), with Billy Bumper my sit and ride toy as his best pal (Buzz). She-Ra and He-Man would be in place of Barbie and Ken, even though I’m fully aware that it’s kind of incestuous. And of course you have to throw a few Weebles in there kind of like the aliens – ooooooooooohhhhhhh!!!!

  86. 86 Mr. Chris November 16, 2010 at 2:50 am

I would have to go with LEGOs…I loved playing with LEGOs as a kid…building cars, space ships, and other castles. I know a lot of people do their own version of stop-motion animation with LEGOs (just search YouTube), but having LEGOs in Toy Story…with a medieval theme where toys try to conquer a king in the castle would be fun to watch and produce in my own version of Toy Story.

Thanks for the contest and consideration of my entry!!!

    Twitter: @PriusGuy2004

  87. 87 Summer November 16, 2010 at 1:40 am

I would say my Strawberry Shortcake doll. She smelled so sweet and I loved playing with her.

  88. 88 Kevin E November 15, 2010 at 10:31 pm

If I could cast any of my favorite toys in my own version of Toy Story, I would choose Weebles! Let’s see Sid mess with them!

  89. 89 Paul Byron November 15, 2010 at 10:00 pm

I’d cast my old Star Wars figures. Let’s face it, it’d be better than anything Lucas had done recently…

  90. 90 Catharine November 15, 2010 at 9:22 pm

I would choose my little toy hoover that i loved as a child, he would be a good toy, but if messed with, would suck up everything in his path into his little blue tummy.
    Following on twitter: Hencat1

  91. 91 Kirsten November 15, 2010 at 8:16 pm

I guess it would have been George. He was a purple rabbit that I carried around everywhere. I would still have it but Mom threw it away…sigh..mothers. And why? Because who wouldn’t want to have a live purple rabbit? @miriama59

  92. 92 Gayle W November 15, 2010 at 7:47 pm

Ok, I am old, as you will be able to tell from my toy selection! But, my granddaughters are crazy about Toy Story, especially the youngest one.

    My toy selection would be:
    Barbie and Ken
    Lincoln Logs
    Poor Pitiful Pearl Doll
    Mr Potato Head
    Silly Putty

  93. 93 Maureen November 15, 2010 at 7:22 pm

I’m @msmorev on Twitter and follow you 🙂 I would cast Snoopy, Woodstock, my Little Pony pals, Strawberry Shortcake, and the smurfs!

Snoopy and Woodstock because they are BFFs and awesome. 🙂

Smurfs because they are cool and blue.

My little ponies becausean like all girls (young and old) we all love ponies. Throw in the colored manes and cutie marks and it’s too cute.

Strawberry Shortcake because I was obsessed as a kid-smell good toys? It’s a given.

    Happy holidays to you!

  94. 94 Jon B November 15, 2010 at 7:19 pm

Without doubt a ‘Bigtrak’ would be a worthy addition to the Toy Story cast.
Super high-tech (when I was a lad anyway), and easily programmed by youngsters (or other toys?), you could set it on its merry way, around obstacles and into other rooms of the house. It’d be perfect as a kindergarten decoy! One of those toys we all wanted, but only ever knew someone else who actually had one. It’s certainly on my Christmas list this year!

  95. 95 Neil November 15, 2010 at 6:48 pm

I think I would cast Grimlock from the original 1980’s Transformers cartoon. Grimlock has always been a really fun character and the fact that he’s a Tyrannosaurus that can transform into a robot could play on Rex’s insecurities of being replaced since they both Tyrannosauruses.

    Twitter: @snowx2k5

  96. 96 karen November 15, 2010 at 6:00 pm

my stuffed kitten because it is cute and likes to play!

  97. 97 @smlcfh November 15, 2010 at 5:57 pm

I’d choose teddy ruxpin b/c he’s the perfect story teller!

  98. 98 hannah evans November 15, 2010 at 5:55 pm

I would have my little ponies, glo-bugs, a rubix cube, trolls, a spinning top, a baby Annabelle who could be with the boy version of Tiny tears, a spacehopper, a coily spring and a Polly Pocket.

I feel these would be a good combination because although I LOVE Toy Story it does revolve mostly around boys toys – time for a girly remake! x

  99. 99 Christina Z November 15, 2010 at 5:52 pm

I would cast my raggedy ann doll because I loved her so much growing up. Great memories and dont mess with red lol

I would cast my old Superman action figure! It would be funny to see a toy who thinks he can really fly and is superstrong

I would choose to cast Simon Says because it would be great to see him trying to boss everyone around and taking the piss when they did something that Simon didn’t say.
